Has a worker ever been rude to you for no reason at a restaurant and it puts you in a bad mood? It certainly puts me in one! The way workers act towards their customers, anywhere from their little comments to their attitude and tone, are huge factors of whether or not they're good employees. Having a nice, friendly, bubbly worker take care of you definitely makes the food taste better! I want all of you to have good experiences in the future, so I will be rating all the popular burger places again, but this time, on their workers!
The first burger place I went to was McDonald's, which is the number one fast food restaurant in America. I got to the window and the lady mumbles, "Go ahead," in the most annoyed tone. Right away, I did not like her vibe, and it was obvious she hated her job. I then ordered just a regular cheese burger, a medium fry, and an Oreo McFlurry. This is a simple order, but right away the worker snaps at me saying, "The ice cream machine isn't working today." Every single time I go to McDonald's, they always say their ice cream machine is down! I have read hundreds of articles and watched conspiracies about how McDonald's workers are too lazy to make a shake or McFlurry, so they just say the machine is down! I was let down by this, so I ended up only getting the burger and fries. When I handed her my money she didn't even say anything, and then she rubbed her eyes, and gave me my food. I rate McDonald's workers a 1/10. They are extremely unprofessional, rude, and don't have social etiquette.
The next place I went to was Burger King, another chain restaurant, but not as known as McDonald's. I got up to the window and the lady says in a friendly voice, "Go ahead whenever you're ready." I liked her tone, and could tell she was a sweet lady instantly. I asked for the same thing: a cheeseburger, fries, and an Oreo shake. This restaurant had everything, which is already a better sign than McDonald's. She told me to pull up to the second window, which I did, then she gave me my change, food, asked if I wanted any sauce, then said "have a nice day!" This experience was successful, but this is how every worker should act. There was nothing too special about the things she said or how she chose to interact with me. She said the bare minimum, but was still very sweet about it. I give Burger King workers a 7.5/10. They are short and sweet, nice workers, but not nice enough to put you in a great mood.
The last place I went was chick-fil-a. This place is not particularly known for their burgers, but they are known for their chicken burgers. I pulled up to the window and I was immediately greeted by a worker with the kindest voice going, "Hi, I'm Jenna, how my I help you?" She sounded so genuine, as if she actually liked her job. When I got done ordering my chicken burger, she told me my total, I thanked her, and she ends with saying, "My pleasure!" I have been going to chick-fil-a for years, and all the workers say my pleasure when you say thank you. It is the nicest thing, and makes you feel good afterwards. I got up to the window and the lady asked how my day was going, then had a conversation with me, gave me my food, and wished me a good rest of my day. This experience was by far my best one. I always love going to chick-fil-a because of the bubbly, friendly workers putting me in a better mood when I leave. I believe chick-fil-a does such a good business because of the workers being so kind! I give chick-fil-a workers a 10/10.
These experiences were very helpful to me. I go to these places quite frequently, and this is an accurate representation of how the workers always act towards their customers. I hope you guys can take some notes from my experience, or give these places a try yourself!

I 100% agree with everything you said. I can never seem to get good service at McDonald's. They're always so snippy with me and I personally have never had fast service with them. I go there for breakfast every now and then and every time I have to pull ahead and wait for about 5 minutes at least. I have never been to Burger King, but I am always going to Chick Fill A and they have the best service in my opinion. I have only had to wait there once, but they even included special gift cards in my bag since I had to wait.
McDonald's ice cream machine is never working. I personally have had a few good experiences there but usually, something goes wrong. I don't go to burger king often if all at all. I think the last time I've been there was 3 years ago. Chick'Fil' A is a place that I don't like to go to. I think their chicken and fries are EXTREMELY bland for my taste and quite pricy for what time getting. However the workers are always nice and ready to help
